昨天在中州国际听了场很棒的讲座，感受了一下什么是专业和学术，从中收获了一批不菲的IELTS信息，尤其是阅读与语法的这方面，跟大家分享一下：
阅读是很多考生的心头之痛，不计其数的考鸭告诉我栽在reading上了，因为阅读时往往搞不清楚句子结构，晕头转向，深陷各种从句的泥潭中不能自拔，导致了读不懂文章无法下手，更甚者就是做不完就直接蒙了，当然正确性很低了。其实阅读很考大家的高级语法功底，各种从句像主从，宾从，表从，状从都会在这部分露面，而且是纵横交错，再夹杂各种形式的倒装，虚拟，独立主格，关系相当之复杂难以想象。致使可爱的考鸭们兵败与此，考鸭们读起来像雨像风又像雾就是不像英文的article。就拿下面的一个很简单的例子来说：
Selecting the right person for the job involves more than identifying the essential or desirable range of skills, educational and professional qualifications necessary to perform the job and then recruiting the candidate who is most likely to possess these skills or at least is perceived to have the ability and predisposition to acquire them
.一个稍微复杂一点
雅思考试又比较倾向考阅读能力的句子。Ok, 如何处理这种长难句，教你几招：
1. 搞清楚长句关系，判断属于并列句还是复合句，分清层次。
注意转折词和连接词（标志词）因为它会告诉你是并列还是复合句，逻辑关系是什么
标志词：and 表示顺承 while 表示对比
but/yet 表转折 for/so 表示结果
or / either …or 表示选择 not only … but also 表示递进
…..
2. 打断长句，先找主谓宾，再看修饰语
识别出有哪几个谓语动词；找出主句的谓语动词，先理解主句；再理解从句和短语
3. 跳读长句，忽略其中插入语和修饰语，先看两端，再看中间
按照以上三步，你可不可以做到下面的的分析：
首先分清句子是并列关系：sentence structure：Selecting the right person....and then recruiting the candidate...
其次：找出修饰语"identifying the essential or desirable range of skills"以及"educational and professional qualifications necessary to perform the job"是修饰the right person。
“is most likely to possess these skills or at least is perceived to have the ability and predisposition to acquire them"是修饰the candidate,最后：忽略修饰语，句子的意思就浮出水面了
