To be frank, One journey I went on that was very long indeed was my trip around Peking last summer, traveling by train.
I went for a whole month, going all around Pecking from my home country of Fujian. I went Pecking for I could see the rich history and culture of our country. I felt it was high time when
I embarked on a long trip to experience a different place and custom. The most famous scenery of Peking is The Imperial Palace and The Summer Palace which reflect the lifestyle and the beauty of royal.
Traveling by train I kept myself occupied by looking out of the window at the landscapes as they flashed by. The countryside was mostly fields, which is different from south of China. Cause this the fist time that I went travel by myself, I learned how to arrange a whole day’s visiting, how to get the cheapest hotel and food I need. I think a long journey will make you grow up.

Indeed, games are the most important part of childhood. I am only keen on playing hide-seek. It seems all kids in the world like playing this game. One child kept eyes closed, the others run away and find somewhere to hide himself. If any kids was found by the eyes-closed kid, he would be the eyes-closed one. Nobody wanted to be the one. So we made effort to hide ourselves. I guess the reason why we like this game is “discover the unknown” everybody has the interest in finding something we don’t know. All the people in the world have the custom to send gift on their friend or their relatives’ birthday. So does our Chinese people. The most memorable gift for my birthday was a ring from my boy friend. That was not a real diamond, but I appreciated it as the precious stone in my life. you know, as a student we don’t have much money to buy gift too expensive. The ring was brought by my boyfriend’s firs salary of a part-time job. The gift’s value is not depended by its price, but it’s meanings. This ring means a pure love for me.

I an fond of read “Jane Eyre” It is a famous English norvel in the world all most everybody knows it
It is mostly about a women’s story who was not willing to yield to her destiny but fight for her cheerfulness.
The book was recommended by my Chinese teacher. She told us every girl is surposed to read this book which would teach us how important self-respect, adamancy are. Jane was born with hardship. Her aunt treated her badly in addition to her neglected life. her only friend named Helen died. The ingredient of her life was lonely and helpless. Like all women’s story, love is necessary. Jane fell in love with Mr. Rochester , who already had a wife. Jane left him on matter how she loved him.
The most touching part of this book is that Jane accept Mr. Rochester’s love when he had nothing. Most girls in China’s present days treat money as an most important part of love. But Jane purchase a pure love, as long as the guy was himself, she love him. True happiness come from true love not the money. I am trying to be a girl like Jane.

My experience of helping the others is not a big one. It was a boring holiday, when I was wandering on the street, I saw a little boy standing by and sobbing. I went to him, asked him the reason. He told me that he was lost. He couldn’t find the way home. I asked the address of his home, he said I don’t know. I asked the phone number of his home, he said I don’t know. I asked the name of his parents, I got the same answer. I felt puzzled. How could I send him home if he knew nothing. Then, I came up with an idea! I send him to the police station. However, because of no information of his family, the police also had no idea. When we felt helpless, the boy said: my mother is the teacher of First High School. Oh, my goodness! All of us cheered up. Then we send him to the school and found his mother. His mother even didn’t know her son had been lost! Her mother wanted send some money to me for thankfulness. But I refused. I think the meaning of helping others is not what you can get, but a spirit that can follow by everybody.

I would like to tell you the New plastic-bags standards. This standards forbid supermarkets and shops from handing out plastic bags. Authorities say those bags are mainly made of wasted plastics which will contaminate the environment. The standards also have other industrial requirements. For example, plastic bags should have a thickness of on less than 0.025 millimeter, so that they can be reused. Enterprises fail to conform to the standards will face severe punishment. This policy comes to use in 1st June 2008. I still remember that day, when I went to the supermarket, the assistant asked me: miss, do you need a recycled bag? It costs more than plastic bags but it benefits the environment and you can reuse it for many time. At last, I choose the recycled bag. To summarize, it is an advantageous policy for our mankind which will finally benefit our offspring. I really appreciate our government decision.

For me, the most important letter was give by my father on my 18th birthday. It was a paper letter, not an e-mail. I keep it in my bookcase. It was a letter that worthy for my whole life. in this letter, my father listed some of my failure in the past years such as I didn’t keep learning my piano, and listed some of my success in the past years such as I got the First Prize in a Speech Competition. In addition to that, he listed my merit and my shortcomings, for example, I didn’t like get up early, I was always late, things like that. I read this letter regularly, in order to member I can’t commit the some blunder. It is an vital letter for me.

As a student we don’t have much chance to visit a company. The only chance to visit a company was in a summer vacation. Our school organize all of the student of my grade to visit a company that manufacture clothes. It is said that the aim of the visiting the company was to understand the process of industry. All of our classmates went there delightfully, because that was the fist social activity for us. But after we visiting the company we found that manufacture clothes made pollution to the environment, such as waster dye will pollute the river. We definitely can’t forbid factory to manufactory staffs, because that are necessary for our life. But we must find out some solutions to restrict the pollution. Anyhow, that was an useful experience for me, at least, I refuse to buy to much cloths.

I really admire my grandfather. Because he taught me something that I cannot learn from school or books,. which impressed me most was his attitude to life and death. When he was young, life in china was hard to imagine, my grandfather joined the army after his farther’s death, that year he was only sixteen. Death or success, just like today’s coffee or tea, was everyday’s topic. Backed up by the faith of communism, we china won the independence in 1949, which were supposed to mean a new lift, but my grandfather together with the elder in that age, didn’t open a new life until 1990. until then, a wealthy and happy life was beginning for my grandfather and so did disease. After more than 50 years tough life, my grandfather suffered from a variety of diseases. Such as diabetes, high blood pressure. In my view, I thought grandfather’s life is tragedy, never enjoy on day peace an joy. However, he still maintain a happy outlook on life. as he always told me that “ we can’t change life itself, but what really matter is the attitude you face life”. Although grandfather is rather old now, and weak, he still does some reading and walking,. His attitude influence me deeply, I will take the same way to face any difficult in my life.

I'm crazy about hip-hop music. My favorite musician is an American rapper- Eminem. I went for his Hip-hop concert in Glasgow 5 years ago.
I remember in 2003, Eminem came to Scotland for his Europe Concert tour and his first station was Glasgow. I went to get the ticket as soon as I heard of the exciting news. Still a wee bit late, it was "on the pitch".
50 Cent, D12, Marilyn Manson, Dido were all along with Eminem on that tour and performed on the stage.
The stadium was totally full, left no one seat empty. 20,000 people at the very best were on the

Being a student, I haven’t been to any place to work, the only working place that I know was a training school. In the training school, there are receptionists and teachers, and headmaster. When you first come to the school the receptionist will serve you a cup of water, and ask you some questions, like, what are your needs? What do you want to get in our school. I guess the question will make them understand the customer’s requirement. If you attend any classes you must give them money. During the days of studying in the school, teachers will try them best to make you understood. Perhaps the headmaster is the only person that I don’t know what on earth he is doing. Maybe the top secret, who knows?

Some you want to learn in the future
In the future I want to learn Franch. Because I feel it is a beautiful language, as all French say so. The other reason for me to learn French is that France are so attractive to me. It is an art centre in the world. How I wish I can visit there. So ,If I can speak French, it will be helpful. But I don’t have time to learn it. I am crazy about my English.
